Engine Performance
Engine Performance
Engine is 125cc mill, same as in Honda Stunner.
Difference between Honda and Hero is in tuning of this engine.
Hero tuned engine as:
Max. Power: 8.20 kW ( 11 bhp ) @ 8000 rpm
Max. Torque 11 N-m @ 5000 rpm

Generally gear shifting is a little hard in new bikes but that’s not
the case with this Baby. From day one it is surprisingly smooth. Easy gear
shifting in all kind of speed and riding scenario. Whether I am in market area
struggling to find way or in free highway, no problem at all.
Comfort
When talking about comfort, look no further. Ignitor is really
comfortable for long and short trips. In comfort department, its truly made for
commuting. Enough padded wide seats, raised handlebar allows for a very relaxed
seating position. You need not to lean forward, which I really like. Well it's
not like I have any problem reaching for handlebars in bikes like R15 or other.
With my height of 5'10" it's no issue. I just don’t like bending my spine
even a little bit.
Handling
Low Speed Champ.
Whenever I think about handling of Ignitor, it reminds me a quote for legendary boxing champ Mohammad Ali, "Dance like a Butterfly, Sting like a Bee."
Very nicely built bike. 130kg of dry weight, not too little, not too much.
Perfect seating position, coupled with proven diamond frame & raised handlebars create almost perfect center of gravity for rider.

Braking
My bike is with Drum brakes at both ends because Disc version got
45 days waiting.
Some fellow Ignitor owners said that braking is not good. Anyway,
first day I ride the bike with default brake setting and really it was on
softer side. I bought this bike in rainy season. So good braking is an
important issue. I didn’t felt confident enough above 50kmph speed. But next
day I tighten up both brakes by myself and from that date onwards I feel good.
